AB Crew had an outstanding day of racing this past weekend, highlighted by multiple first-place finishes and strong performances across both novice and varsity boats.
The Novice Boys crews led the way with two first-place finishes, while the Varsity Girls 8+ delivered a dominant win in their event. The Novice Girls 4+ secured a strong second-place result, and the Varsity Boys 4+ showed impressive determination with a late sprint push that gained ground on the field.
Across the program, athletes demonstrated versatility and continued development. The Varsity Boys coxed quad competed effectively against lighter, non-coxed boats, while the Novice Girls 8+ successfully completed their first full race of the spring season. The Varsity Girls 4+ crews executed meaningful technical improvements throughout their races, and a newly formed Varsity Girls 2x showed promising speed and cohesion after limited time rowing together.
Beyond race results, the day reflected the team’s growing strength in preparation and support. Athletes contributed both on and off the water, assisting with equipment, rigging, and race-day logistics—an essential part of a successful program.
The regatta provided valuable experience and measurable gains in both fitness and race execution. With clear takeaways and momentum building, AB Crew looks ahead to the coming weeks with confidence and focus.
